                 The Southern states that we fought in the Civil War were Democrat states!!

• After the Civil War, Republicans moved in and blacks voted, ran for office, started businesses, etc., for years, until Democrats won back the states.

• The Ku Klux Klan was started as a  Democrat organization.

• The Underground Railroad was started and run by a religious Republican organization.

• The NAACP was started with the help of Republicans.

• The Civil Rights Act was passed by Republicans, even after a long filibuster attempt by Democrats.

• Martin Luther King Jr. was a registered Republican.

• At the democratic convention in Charlotte North Carolina, a large group of Democrats yelled “No” 3 times to a vote to adopt the amendment that added to the Democratic National platform the fact that they recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and that “the faith and belief in God is central to the American story”.
• April 16, 1862 President Lincoln signs bill abolishing slavery in District of Columbia; in Congress, 99% of Republicans vote yes, 83% of Democrats vote no!
• July 17, 1862 100% of Democrats had a unanimous opposition to this, But the Republican Congress passes Confiscation Act stating that slaves of the Confederacy “shall be forever free”.
• That’s right The Democrats, every one of them!!! Voted against the freedom of slaves. Yet 91% of blacks vote Democrat today!!! WHY??????
• May 10, 1866 U.S. House passes the Republicans’ 14th Amendment guaranteeing due process and equal protection of the laws to all black citizens; 100% of Democrats vote no!!!
