Budget deal cuts Veterans pension,But illegal immigrant            benefits are safe, Tennessee's Senator Lamar Alexander votes yes to both       GREAT RIGHT!!! that leaves wounded vets and retirees without 6 billion in retirement benefits over the next 10 years, interestingly enough and in contrast at the same time Alexander voted “Yes” to extend illegal immigration benefits. 

An effort by a handful of Republicans in the US Senate failed to drum up enough support to halt cuts to pensions for our Veterans and wounded warriors.

So let me get this right!!!! “we have to cut wounded military Vet pensions instead of cutting welfare for illegal immigrants.”

                 The Southern states that we fought in the Civil War were Democrat states!!

• After the Civil War, Republicans moved in and blacks voted, ran for office, started businesses, etc., for years, until Democrats won back the states.

• The Ku Klux Klan was started as a  Democrat organization.

• The Underground Railroad was started and run by a religious Republican organization.

• The NAACP was started with the help of Republicans.

• The Civil Rights Act was passed by Republicans, even after a long filibuster attempt by Democrats.

• At the democratic convention in Charlotte North Carolina, a large group of Democrats yelled “No” 3 times to a vote to adopt the amendment that added to the Democratic National platform the fact that they recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and that “the faith and belief in God is central to the American story”.
• April 16, 1862 President Lincoln signs bill abolishing slavery in District of Columbia; in Congress, 99% of Republicans vote yes, 83% of Democrats vote no!

1. Do you believe the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land?
2. Do you believe America is a nation of laws, and everyone should be held to the same standard, regardless of class, race or religion? Or, do you believe some in our society deserve special treatment under the law because they’re rich, poor, politically connected, black, white, Hispanic, etc?
3. Do you believe as our founders did that our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness come from our creator? Or, do you believe our rights come from the government?
4. Do you believe as our founders did that the purpose of the government is limited to the preservation of the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and the other powers granted to it by the people in the constitution? Or, do you believe the government can vote itself any power it deems appropriate no matter what the constitution says?
5. Do you believe the money you earn from your job or business belongs to you, as well as the property you buy with the money you earn? Or, do you believe the government has the right to your money and property, and someone in Washington should decide how much of it you should keep based on the adage made famous by Karl Marx, “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need?
6. Do you believe that as long as you earn your money honestly and break no laws, there should be no limit on the amount of money you make? Or, do you believe as President Obama said, “at some point, you’ve made enough money?”

You’ll find most liberals who answer these questions honestly will find themselves on the conservative side of most of these questions, usually anywhere from 7 – 9 of them.
So why do they think Republicans are sub-human, conservatives are Neanderthals and Tea Party members are a bunch of racists and crazies? Because that’s what the mainstream media has been selling as objective news coverage LOL. Most people are busy earning a living and taking care of their families. They don’t have the time or interest to dig very far for the truth, so they read the New York Times and watch Katie Couric,CNN or MSNBC and think they’re getting unbiased news coverage. They have to look further to find out they’re not getting objective reporting, and too many people are not willing to take the time and look for the TRUTH!!! Never forget it is not always what you are told but the worst part is what THERE NOT TELLING YOU!!!!
